JiKNS uses only free and open source software.
JiKNS (JiK Net Services) is a small startup specializing in software software development and electronic publishing. Our flagship products are Tanit AS (Tanit Application Server) and WKBook (Web KBook).
We use a variety of technologies and languages, in particular LaTeX, typst, Go, Lua, JavaScript and Julia. As RDBMS, we use SQLite and Firebird SQL.
JiKNS offers the following services and products:
• Production of WKBooks on specific topics with embedded applications in Lua and Javascript.
• Production of IM4SE (Interactive Manuals for Science and Engineering) as a set of WKBooks.
• Lua application Development.
• Relational database development for SQLite and Firebird.
WKBook and Cartolina are excellent solutions for the development of multimedia courses, and theses of all kinds.
